Minolia private beta
Privacy in the beta
This notice describes the current private beta operated under the name Minolia. Updated October 29, 2026.
Information you provide
Minolia uses the vehicle, listing, mileage, ZIP code, pricing, financing and trade information you submit to help analyze a vehicle and compare deal terms. Contract review also processes the PDF or images you choose to submit, including information visible in them.
Use documents you are authorized to share. Remove unnecessary personal details, signatures and account numbers before submitting a copy. Keep the vehicle and deal information needed for your comparison readable.
When information leaves your browser
- Vehicle and market requests are processed by Minolia and MarketCheck. Depending on the request, they include the VIN, mileage, ZIP code and dealer type.
- Reading a listing requests the address you provide from the listing website. Avoid links that contain private access codes or account information.
- When live document review is enabled and you select Extract Contract Terms, Minolia sends the submitted PDF or images to OpenAI for extraction. A PDF's filename is included. Selecting a file alone does not start extraction.
- Market and negotiation guidance can send entered deal information to the Minolia server for processing.
Provider handling and retention also depend on the provider's terms and the account settings used for the beta. Signing out of Minolia does not delete information already processed by those services.
Saved deals and cookies
Minolia saves vehicle analysis and negotiation information in your browser tab. The agreed final deal and comparison results are also saved in this browser and may remain after closing a tab. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access saved information.
A beta-access cookie lasts up to seven days. A separate usage cookie lasts up to 30 days and helps enforce request limits. These cookies support access and usage controls.
Successful sign-out clears the current tab's saved Minolia deal information and the final-review data shared by this browser. Other open tabs can still hold information in memory or in their own tab storage. Close those tabs too when using a shared device. You can remove remaining browser data through your browser's site-data controls.
Access, usage and service records
Minolia keeps a tester label, invitation and session records, and request usage records to manage beta access and usage limits. Invitation codes and session tokens are stored as hashes. The usage record includes a derived browser identifier, the provider and request times.
These records are not automatically deleted when access expires or you sign out. The current beta does not have an automatic deletion schedule for historical access and usage records.
A hosted copy can also produce service logs containing IP addresses, requested addresses, times and errors. Some requested addresses and diagnostic messages can include a VIN. Hosting logs, backups and provider records are separate from your browser's saved deal.
Your choices and questions
You can enter contract terms manually without submitting a document for extraction. Clearing saved browser data does not remove server, provider or email records.
To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, email contact@minolia.com. Start with a description of your request; do not email API keys, invitation codes or unredacted contracts. Contacting support shares your email address and message with Minolia and the email services handling it.
